At several of our meetings, residents expressed safety concerns about the Point Street Bridge due to the lack of lights; out of the 32 possible lights, only 5 were lit. We worked with State Representative Chris Blazejewski and Councilman Seth Yurdin to fix this issue.
After the lights were off for nearly a decade, we are delighted to report that they are once again on! This will keep pedestrians safe crossing the bridge and decrease the amount of crime and graffiti. If you see an issue like this, log it into the PVD 311 system. If you are not seeing progress, please let us know.
